Final payments for bookings are due as follows:
– Low Season Bookings: final payment is due 21 days prior to arrival.
– NSW/QLD School Holiday Bookings: final payment is due 21 days prior to arrival.
– NSW/QLD Christmas Bookings: final payment is due by the 1st October. If the booking is made after the 1st October, full payment will be required at the time of booking.

Payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, direct deposit or by cheque.  Credit card payments incur 1.3% surcharge.

How much is the security bond?

All bookings will require photos identification of the primary guest and a credit card pre-authorisation for a refundable Security Bond in the amount of up to $500. For more information, please read our Terms and Conditions.

Why do I need to pay a security bond?

We understand some of our guests may not have paid bonds while travelling previously. However, unlike hotels, our properties are individually owned, large and valuable assets. We don’t hold the funds. It is held by your associated bank and automatically released as long as there are no issues during your stay.

Are your holiday abodes pet friendly?

We have a select number of properties that accept pets.  Select “Pet Friendly” on the Advanced Search tab to easily narrow down the selection to find a property that will meet your needs.  If your ideal rental is not pet friendly, we recommend the Paw Park Resort just outside of Evans Head for minding your pet whilst on holidays.

Do you accept “Schoolies” bookings?

It is the guest’s responsibility to inform the agent of any booking that may occupy school leavers, particularly during the period from the 1st November to 15th December. If not disclosed to the agent, then the agent reserves the right to terminate the booking immediately. The guest will be required to leave without a refund. “Schoolies” bookings will be made in consultation with the owner, and if confirmed, a separate “Schoolies” agreement will apply.

Can I change the dates on my booking?

A booking can be rescheduled with no cancellation fee, provided applicable notice has been given. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information.

What is your cancellation policy?

Is there Wi-Fi?

For your convenience, all of the Drift + Stay holiday homes offer free unlimited Wi-Fi.

Is linen provided?

When you arrive at your holiday destination, the last thing you feel like doing is making beds, so we’ve done the work for you.  All beds will be made up ready for a good nights’ sleep. This includes all bedding, one bath towel for each guest, a bathmat, hand-towel and face-towel for each bathroom.

Can extra guests stay if I bring my own bedding and mattresses?

No. For insurance and healthy and safety reasons, extra guests and bedding are not permitted on our properties. Each property has a maximum number of guests permitted. This can be found under the person icon on the property page.

Do you supply baby items?

For your convenience, you can hire a port-a-cot and high chair for an additional cost. Please call our office to book for your holiday.

Do I need to clean the holiday property before I leave?

We appreciate you leaving your holiday home tidy, with rubbish placed in the correct garbage bin and all personal items removed. One of our contract cleaners will complete a thorough clean on your departure.  If the property is left excessively dirty, excess cleaning charges will be deducted from your security bond. Please see our terms and conditions for further information.

What is supplied at the holiday property on arrival?

A small starter kit is supplied on your arrival, including kitchen basics, dishwashing tablets, laundry powder, hand wash and body wash. For any additional items, please visit our local SPAR Supermarket or IGA.

If you have requested an early check-in, we will only be able to confirm this, at the earliest, the day before arrival.  Please call our office to confirm an early check-in.  Early arrival is not available during Peak season due to the heavy booking and cleaning schedules.
